Memorial Healthcare Blood Donation Services

Why You Should Donate Blood

More than one in four Americans will require a blood transfusion at least once in their lifetimes. Yet, just 5 percent of those eligible to give a blood donation actually do so.

Sus donaciones de sangre son fundamentales para ayudar a garantizar un suministro más estable para los pacientes del Memorial Healthcare System. Each whole blood donation can help as many as three people.

Community Blood Centers of South Florida, Inc. (CBCSF) is the primary blood supplier for Memorial Healthcare System, operating donor centers and blood mobiles throughout our area. In South Broward, the blood donation center is located at:

3615 Hollywood Boulevard (across from the courthouse), (954) 986-6302

A nonprofit, all-voluntary blood donation service, CBCSF is a member of the American Association of Blood Banks (AABB), America's Blood Centers (ABC), the American Society of Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics (ASHI) and the Florida Association of Blood Banks (FABB), and is licensed by the Food and Drug Administration and the state of Florida. Además de esto, la CBCSF es un centro de donación para el Programa Nacional de Donantes de Médula Ósea (NMDP).
