We have one of only a few endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) units in the nation at Memorial Hospital West, which allows physicians to better stage the cancer and provide patients with appropriate gastrointestinal cancer treatments. Additionally, sophisticated diagnosis, treatment and continuing care are available for patients who have gastrointestinal malignancies or a genetic predisposition to the disease.
Leukemia, Lymphoma Treatment and Bone Marrow Transplant Programs
Modeled after the hematologic malignancy programs found in leading university hospitals, these programs provide a multidisciplinary commitment to patients diagnosed with hematologic malignancies and sickle cell disease.
Todos los nuevos casos diagnosticados son revisados por clínicos, patólogos y radiólogos en una dedicada junta sobre tumores hematológicos. A flow cytometry laboratory and specially trained hematopathologist help provide accurate diagnosis andtreatment of leukemia and lymphoma.
